It gives me great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the 6th National Conference on ‘Advances in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery’, scheduled for May 29–30, 2026, at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Building on the success of previous editions, the 2026 conference will focus on one of the most significant and challenging topics in the field: the mitral valve. Leading experts from Romania and abroad will join us to explore the latest advances in diagnosis, surgical and interventional treatment, as well as innovative technologies shaping the future of mitral valve management.

Over the course of two days, the conference will feature a carefully selected program of scientific presentations, interactive sessions, and practical workshops. Special attention will be dedicated to young residents, nurses, and perfusion technicians, who will benefit from tailored sessions guided by renowned professionals from prestigious institutions.
